We're on a mission to deliver weather that works for you. We're focused on delivering simple tools to help you plan and get the most out of every single day.

It's estimated that between 20-25% of people in Ireland suffer from allergies associated with pollen, like hay fever. But pollen is often just one part of the story - other pollutants and airborne particles can contribute to symptoms and increase allergic reactions.

Recucing exposure to pollutants like Particulate Matter (PM10 and PM2.5), Ozone, Nitrogen Dioxide and Sulphur Dioxide can contribute to decreased allergic responses and reduce the severity of allergic symptoms.

To help you understand and manage the effects of pollutants, we've added air quality information in two places: a summary Air Quality rating on pollen forecasts, and a detailed air quality report - acessible with a click from each pollen forecast.

We've included data and explanations for PM2.5, PM10, Ozone, Nitrogen Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, and Sulphur Dioxide. Over time we plan to add specific advice for the day based on a combination of pollutant and pollen signals. We also plan to include more visual indicators to help you quickly scan and understand each report.

As always, please share any feedback or ideas you have. And thanks for being such a loyal member of the pollen.ie community.
